Our healthcare electives packages are based in the ‘Pearl of Africa’ – also known as Uganda. We ensure you have the best practical experiences by limiting the number or students on each ward. We take care of everything from food, accommodation, In-country transport, excursions, placement structure, extra-curricular activities and even mobile phone sim cards to ensure you have the best stress-free elective experience of a life time. We work closely with the hospitals and local organisations to ensure we maintain a high level of ethical standards and sustainability.
We strongly believe in supporting local causes so we donate part of your fees to fantastic organisations such as Esubi Kids community project and SPE educational initiatives in Uganda.

We are a team of qualified healthcare professionals, tour providers, chefs, housekeepers, administrators and much more. We all come together to bring you the most amazing elective experience. Hi Everyone, I’m Linda, founder of PEA. As a founder, you will often find me doing a bit of…well…EVERYTHING. From answering the phones, responding to emails, whatsapping quick fire solutions or trying and testing everything and anything. I’m really proud of PEA and everything it stands for. From the amazing people I work with, to the courageous patients I encounter. When I’m not elbow deep in PEA-associated paraphernalia, I’m either getting my groove on at my local Zumba classes or (badly) belting out Whitney Housten renditions!
Moses Busama
Senior Coordinator
Hello students, I am Moses the senior coordinator. I am based here in Uganda and look forward to meeting you. I will be showing you the ropes and helping you discover the true beauty of Uganda. As a coordinator you will find me organising all the activities and being your personal guide, chauffeur and friend :-). I am really sure that your experience will be fun, fruitful but above all … lifesaving.

Kale, oli otya (welcome, how are you) everybody! I am Munigwa. I have been a chef for over 25 years. I love cooking and I can whip up a great BBQ to tantalise your taste buds. Perhaps if your feeling daring I can tempt you to try some of the traditional Ugandan dishes such as Matooke, Muwogo or Enyama. In Uganda, food is a reason to get together, laugh and enjoy each others stories. I look forward to meeting all of you.
